PS4 A question about 10.0x firmware jailbreaks

I know that there is no confirmed jailbreaks for 10.0x firmwares for the PS4 but is there any entry points so far or no?
 
Yes WebKit came out yesterday so we have an entry point but that's the easy part. Most that were working on the PS4 have moved to the PS5 as it is the latest challenge.


After 9.00 most that were doing the security side haven't done much if anything on PS4. That's not to say if something is found they will not try to implement it but with the PS5 having a user mode & kernel access but still remaining security they are going after the hypervisor and working on the WebKit and BD-J exploits fine tuning them.

So while the PS4 has a good bit of devs those with the skills aren't really mucking about with it now. I know one of the PS3 3 Musketeer devs responsible lv0 keys and a working SAMU exploit for PS4 is trying to raise funds for a PS5 dev kit. With him moved along as well as QWERTYUIOP & TheFlow left the scene due to the toxic nature of it all

Your best best is to find a 9.00 system there is a ton of them out there. Or hope an exploit is found in FreeBSD that works for the PS4 and wait for someone to attempt the implement it. Hacker One has changed the nature of the scene. They pay them now so they get something as they should. Then it MAY get disclosed later after it has been patched by the devs.

Wish I had some better news. After the PS3 Sony did a good job on the PS4. Heck the first exploit was for 1.76 and didn't see another for years till 4.05, then 4.55, 5.05, 6.72, & finally 9.00 so as you can see the hacks are very few and far between.

I kinda got my ps4 as a Christmas gift from one of my cousins as a Christmas gift so that's why I don't want to sell it

Nah didn't mean to sell it. I keep one for online play and got a used one for like $150 that was on 9.00 as they are pretty easy to find nowadays. With 9.00 being such a late firmware.
