Are "updates due to new FW versions" really needed... I mean, the only good improvement is the compatibility with a new system version. The software has not so much change overall...

It depends the intention of the article. If the purpose is summarize what happened in 2021, then minor updates could be included.

The Vita Scene has been on fire all year, so there is alot of releases, listing all for the Vita might be a task. I think some of the highlights which some will unfortunately be missed but hopefully not , we will have to include VitaDB / brewology that will help fill any gaps for what went on with homebrew / plugin release wise of anything missed.
Other platforms like the PS1 and PSP i think its going to be really anything..
