Abort 4.83 system update on Super Slim

Hi.

By mistake the 4.83 update was downloaded and started. When I noticed I unplugged the PS3, but everytime I power it on the update process starts.

Is there any way to stop this and continue on 4.82?

You could try enter safe mode and install 4.82 from usb. If that does not work you could try format the hdd on PC (if it has a hdd).
 
I'm new to this scene as I never knew you could do this until the other day.

I'm ok with flashing stuff generally so i have followed instructions and got to the point where the 4.82 ofw on my ps3 has the xploit.

I now just need to install cfw. But I have a problem...

My ps3 was set to auto update (i've not used it for a long time) and the 4.83 firmware has downloaded but I haven't installed it

Now everytime I try to system install cfw it just wants me to install 4.83. Is there a way to remove this auto download so it doesn't auto pick it? I can't shoose to install from usb!
 
Trying to enter safe mode didn't work, still showed the update process but at 480p. Formatted the HDD and tried again and it worked! Now I'll follow the HAN installation steps again. Thank you all for your support.
