PS3 Accessing core game files (Colin McRae DiRT)

Hi, I am new here.

For quite a while I am modding DiRT games on PC. Since I have found out that there was a PS3 only demo for DiRT (2007) I wonder if there would be a possibility to extract *.PKG file to browse what is inside.

Generally in PC versin there are *.PSSG files representing 3D models of specific cars. Maybe there is a possibility that such files would exist in PS3 version and there would be possibility to insert a new PS3 oly car model into PC game.

Would anyone familiar with modding PS3 games be able to comment on whether there is such a chance and how to try to extract files. By far I have only managed to extract *.PKG into Folder with USRDIR\ps3_000.nfs (239MB) except few small files.

Thanks in advance.

Thank you for replay.
I have succesfully extracted PKG file.

The problem is, that there are no EBOOT.PBP file.
Instead there is .NFS file.
It is weird because this extension would be expeted for Wii games not PS3.
Using nfs2iso2nfs didn't work out.

[Sorry, I have no permission to post links to nfs2iso2nfs or my screenshot]

NFS files are not uncommon to the PS3 games. One game that uses them is Operation Flashpoint: Dragon Rising.

But again, I don't have any knowledge on how to tamper with internal game files.
