PS3 HAN Activate PSN account on PS3 FW 4.82 after FW4.83 released

Hi,

I just got a PS3 recently with FW 4.82 on and successfully install HAN on it. However, I cannot activate my dummy PSN account due to the new FW 4.83 is out => cannot dump ACT/IDPS. Therefore, my question is if anyone know how to log in PSN to activate the PS3 in 4.82 without update to 4.83? Is the method same with this guide for 4.81?

Yes, that method is confirmed working. read the thread too, especially page 3 onwards as well. There is a new link there for the download.

Hi DeViL303, thanks for the info.
I have the same situation, I have got a PS3 recently with OFW 4.81, and never active the system or sign in the psn. I try to sign in the psn, it shows me need to update the system first. So does it possible I can active the system and sign in the psn with current system version 4.81, does the method you provided worked for me? Thanks

Update to 4.82 first. Get the update file on google. The bypass won't work if you're on 4.81.

Thank you very much! I have update the OFW from 4.81 to 4.82. Now I can active the my ps3 console and sign in the psn without any issue. Now I can dump the act.dat and idps.hex. As tested. Already run PS2 games on my PS3 console.

can i sign up first? i never signed in ps3
Answer,I would make a separate throw away account on PSN first. Sign up on PC or mobile, update ps3 to 4.82 ofw. Go to ps3 exploit host web page, in browser of ps3. Run han exploit. When done download ltast sen enabler. Run sen enabler.then you are spoofed to 4.83.then sign in and activate system done.

ok i did it I spoof it then i signed but every time I want to play for example ps1 classic game i have to use ps3 serverproxy?

have you installed han toolbox?...if so you must enable han every time you turn cosnsole on. if console is not shut off han stays enabled. if the game is disc you do not have to enable han. all ps1 disks are playable. with or without han. as for server proxy are you talking about the host web page to enable han? if you are completly new to this there is a lot to read hear on this site. lots of great people.

just update to the latest ofw from Sony, currently 4.86. Then follow our guide on exploiting using ps3xploit. Dont skip any steps. What model is your ps3?

Which one do you have, CFW or HEN?
What version is it on?
Is your ps3 activated?

Hi

PS3 SuperSlim CECH-4004C
HEH - HFW 4.86.1
Cannot activate, show me error number 80029519

This is my situation, but other functions seem to work good, this is my second PS3 (black.. if You remember my other thread, about the PS3 white freeze slim 3004B :) ).
With this PS3 I've done the FW dump in the right mode, and checked with the Py_tool.... HEN it's work great.

Ahh! Yes, I remember now. :D

Do not activate HEN, create a new User and try activating your ps3 with it.

Ok...after some attempts..it's work, my solution is very simple, this work is done to understand if the PS3 has a problem or my mistake when I mod PS3. I don't know if Sony ties the PS3/4 to an ID/mail/user etc. etc, the PS3 was used!! like the Apple and his devices and this is the proof...Sony don't tie them.
The error/trouble is in the original HDD. Tried to rebuild the database, filesystem scan from the recovery console, nothing solves.
The solution steps...
Take a new HDD
Reinstall the OFW 4.86 from USB drive
Wait until the finish procedure.
Remake the HEN mod
Activate System
Get dump the ACT/IDPS...
Now, no errors, and works like a charm!! Now I can format the O-HDD and restart the mod and now there is another problem...but this is a new thread!!! and before ask help...I will try myself to resolve (sign pkg - start but black screen).

So after this, a FORMAT is the solution and restart from scratch!! :smile new::smile new::smile new:

Thank You so much to everyone!! for help and suggestions.

There was no need of a new HDD, you could have done the same with your Old HDD simply by formatting it.

Yes, of course, I did it only to not lose the games that I later transfer, and to eliminate physical problems on the hdd.
So I had a clean system.

Thank You so much, again!!
