Just as the PS3 OFW 4.78 update was released by Sony, they also released the Vita firmware 3.57 for the PS Vita and PlayStation TV devices. This update officially states that Facebook was removed (from this announcement), but also have of course patched many exploits for the system. It was a bit since the last System Update for the Vita and with various exploits making its way to the public over the last months its no surprise many exploits have been patched. The guys over at wololo.net have broken it down as the PSP Emulator Kernel Mode Exploits are now patched. This exploit was required for eCFW through the emulator (that means ARK and TN-V are affected). Custom Bubbles Methods (by Major Tom / Mr.Gas) has also been patched with this System Update. While [break]ss[/break]these OFW updates are no fun for the hacking community, they tend to be a huge pain in the ass for the OFW users also, as Sony has a reputation of leasing features to its user-base. Adding them as selling features to later removed the feature from users. Updates should be upgrades, the should not be giving you less and here is a thought if there is a situation where one must remove a feature. Why not add a useful feature in the update as well to offset some of the firmware updates that just remove OFW features. That is an answer or a philosophy we have not seen from Sony in the past but could serve them better in the future.

*Updated Note: psx-place.com mod @atreyu187 confirms Qwikrazor bubbles are working along with a few other things such as:
