After upgrading to 1.1+ USB games won't show up

I was using OPL 1.0 on my PS2 slim and the games showed fine. But after upgrading to 1.1, because Hello Kitty Roller Rescue was not working, no game is shown at all. I am running it directly from memory card + matrix.
The best I could manage to get was the refresh (select) actually loading the USB device, but still, no games were shown. I did enable the BDM to auto and manual, and no luck. Put my games both at DVD folder or in root, for both a FAT32 and a NTFS pendrives. Also tried in two models (external power supply and later internal one) with same results.

Is there any tricks to force a reload or something like that? Because when I press select, or square or triangle, nothing happens.
I can provide screenshots and more details, if needed.

After releasing 1.1 there has been a bugfix relating to this issue. Have you tried the latest development build?

OK< I got it to work with 1.2 beta: So I will let the solution here for other people:
- forget about NTFS, contrary to documentation, it simply isn't detected, just use FAT32
- the interface is very confusing not showing USB directly, so I explain: enter the new one BDM or something confusing like that, then IF your pendrive if detected, it will show the USB on its place. If USB is not shown there, your pendrive was not detected
- the doc say to leave ISO files in the root for FAT32, but for me, it worked only on the DVD folder

I hope the UI gets less confusing with newer versions, not abasolutely nonsense like it did here, hope this gets fixed, using initials that means NOTHING for normal people is BAD.
Good luck!

The root is only for split-files and the CD- & DVD-Folder are for ISOs since over a decade.
