PS2 Alternative power supply (PSU) for ps2

I want to ask if is safe use a Chinese PSU alternative for PS2 that I found on AliExpress (same are also on Amazon) ?

I hope that the quality of power delivered is the same and will not damage the motherboard after long time of use.

No avoid those Chinese power supplies they are cheap and nasty.

Try to get a bargain priced genuine one off of eBay or Facebook buy/sell/trade marketplaces

Any proof to that? I bought one and it works perfectly fine, it doesn't get hot or warm and is good all around. I would love to see a review of these things. To my limited knowledge, these chinese PSU seem to be working as transformers instead of stepping down the current like old PSU's, that needed bigger and weightier copper parts.
