That's just a matter of taste or personal opinion, and is totally irrelevant in a tech forum. Be thankful that someone from the REBUG team is still developing CFW for the PS3.

Use MFW-builder to edit the clocks on REBUG FW update PUP.

wait there is still new rebug firmwares? as I know there was 4.88 overclocked but I not see any new

No. Last Rebug was 4.84.2 Rex/D-Rex and 4.86.1 Lite. Anything else than those with matching checksums, is unofficial.

Evilnat has been around just as long and been a contributor to many projects, he was not a member of the REBUG Team, this was the official team.
  • Cyberskunk / Evilsperm / Abkarino / Joonie / Habib
Rebug has a few cycles, cyberskunk retired from the scene before Joonie and Habib joined the team so there was never a time when all them were active together. Also there was a period when there was no Rebug. then joonie and habib helped revive and take it even farther.
Evilnat along with other's are in the Rebug Credits:

wait so now we can overclock on webman? woah I wasn't on ps3 about 2 years. Is there any guide to overclock in webman? I going to install rebug 4.86 LE because this was best firmware for that model (as I tested)

Yeap, you can set the clock values on webMAN setup page.

I really want to know why do you hate the CFW, can you tell me why and what problems do you have while using it?
I got a lot of times freeze (if I remember it was 4.90 these days) also everytime it froze I got YLOD (I sure temps was good I had 65C max ingame on rsx and cpu). Also new xmb loading icon effects made me confused. And for now I see my 2504B have 0B datacode so on 4.92 I can't install cfw. Is funny because on 4.86 I was able to install cfw.

Do you have SSD instead HDD? If you have HDD and you have YLOD I recommend you to not overclock, the CFW 4.92.2 itself doesn't create YLOD randomly, only while launching a PS2ISO if hashes are not correct

The perfect step to check if something is wrong, is not using anything that is running in background, plugins, webMAN MOD, etc... Use multiMAN to load your games and see if it keeps creating the same issue. If you keep getting YLOD while playing a game check your SYSCON error log

With the new XMB icons you mean the loading icon, it was modified because in some options the arrow icon is static and is not rotating

About you cannot install CFW anymore, make sure that you are running CFW and not OFW/HFW, and you are trying to install the correct version: PEX for CEX and DPEX for DEX

There are XMB mods which are incompatible with current xai_plugin (some game cheating modules, forgot names), XMLs past 4.89 etc.

If you have CECH-25xx with metldr then you can and ALWAYS will be able to install CFW on it. Now you cannot because you probably using HFW which is Frankenstein OFW, but still an OFW... You need use bgtoolset to patch fw to be able to install CFW, after that set QA flag on and you will gain again full freedom to upgrade or downgrade to any CFW. Or, as Evilnat said, You using fw with different TargetID than you trying install CFW for.

BTW: And as I expected, :P because you don't understand how things working, you experienced issues and blames CFW, spreading that FUD. That's harmless to the project and people involved to. Before you did that, you should ask the smith himself about that because you are actually in the center of the forge. ;D
