PS3 Any way to change the psn icon to the old one in the XMB? (cfw)

It would be in an rco. Cant recall which one, but I think it's either explore_plugin_full.rco or network_plugin.rco. you need to use rco mage mod.

easiest way its to use one of the hen themes pkg, theres one that restores the old psn logo, dunno how well it works on cfw tho or anything past 4.86

I made some rco files with the old icon. they're from the latest hfw, so don't use if on cfw. I made an installable zip, but I do not know if it'll work on hen with dev_rewrite instead of dev_blind (double-click in multiman). if it doesn't work, you could just extract the files and transfer over to dev_rewrite/vsh/resource

the files are xmb_ingame.rco and xmb_plugin_normal.rco.

Rename mount point in filename and should works if on HEN you can write to dev_flash*. Like i.e to "PS3~dev_rewrite~vsh~resource.zip"

Yeah, I have CFW evilnat 4.91. So, I only need to access via FTP and change those two files u mention at the end and then reboot and that's it? Also another question, before editing the dev_flash folder, is there something I need to enable to permit editions in this folder via FTP? cause I have been reading things like that but Im not sure! sorry for my late reply and thanks for ur response

You may have to enable dev_blind, depending on your setup. Don't use my files as there may be unforseen changes with a cfw system. Those two files are the ones you want to change though. Rco mage mod kept crashing on windows 11 for me, so you may need to use rco mage gui from brewology. Remember to compress as zlib, when compiling. That psn image of yours is malformed also, so take the images from like 3.55. decrypt the pup with puad.
