The symptom makes me think possibly a A/V capacitor or two are degrading.
The picture is black and white and distorted. Unplayable. Tried two different cables.
The picture returns to normal after a while being on (maybe 20 or 30 minutes?).
Is there a way to fix it without replacing the capacitors? (I can't solder
)
If the problem is the composite capacitor, would an S-Video cable be able to have a clean picture as a workaround?
