Apollo Save Tool (PS4)

PS4 Apollo Save Tool (PS4) v2.3.2

So if keystones or title id or both dont match between the game installed and the save we want to use then in all the 3 conditions we have to use this method of using the decrypted data files ???

yes, in those cases you'll have to manually replace files. With a different title-id the game won't even detect or show the save, with a different keystone it will fail to load with a "corrupt" message or similar.

Keep in mind that Apollo has an option to export and replace keystones, so you could use that solution if you only need to replace a keystone. (in the end the process is similar to replace the data files, but you swap keystones). Also note that replacing keystones should be done before you try to load the save-game, because once the ps4 flags the save as corrupted even if you swap keystones it won't work.

Also when using the older method of "Save Mounter" to use other's saves, I dont encounter this problem, so it it because here also in this method we are working with the decrypted files.

Yes, the old "save mounter" method is done with decrypted save files and you're only replacing the data file content, that's why it should always work as long as the save is for the same game. That's also why you don't need to resign, change keystone or do anything, because you're using your own save as a "container" to inject the data file from another console or user.

As a general note, that's why I have been pushing for PS4 save-games to be shared in decrypted format, because there are too many things that can go wrong, and if you have a decrypted save you can just take the data files and do whatever you want, inject them, import them, resign, etc.

Bottom line: if you're sharing a save, use Apollo and always use "Export save-game to ZIP". (or copy decrypted to USB). With a decrypted save everyone will have less troubles.

I can add that 7.51 version and apply the regular 7.5 save mount patches, but you'll have to test if it works or not. I don't have patch information about that version but I assume the same patches are compatible between 7.50 and 7.55

let me know and I'll share a beta package
Thanks , @bucanero,I don't have a problem testing!

can you try if this version works for your 7.51 ps4?
https://www.mediafire.com/file/em48lqb50ttbqzr/IV0000-APOL00004_00-APOLLO0000000PS4.pkg/file

it should detect 7.51 and apply the 7.5x save mount patches. Then try to see if you can access the HDD saves, copy to USB, etc.

let me know, if it works I'll add this fix to the next release
Loaded patches Thanks!, did not get firmware not supported pop up. Account activation gave me error 1 time second time it did not tell me Account already activated or not activated or any options. Copy saves works from HDD to USB to HDD.

thanks for confirmation, I'll add 7.51 to the next release
offline account activation should only be used on new/blank accounts. Could you create a blank new user, then offline activate, exit apollo and restart the ps4?
I could add a check if the user tries to activate the same account many times before rebooting so the changes take effect... but I'm not sure if your error was related to activating 2 times in a row or not

My account is activated, so maybe because I tried to activat it once nothing happened second time I got an error, will make a nother user and check back with you.

So you have to re-run apollo after every reboot to get save working? Also is there a permanent way?

no, that means that the save doesn't have the right keystone file

you're probably mixing saves from retail and fake packages.

Check keystone and resign it, or inject data files from an external save into a new save created in the target account

I got it working with save mounter.
I still need to learn how to properly use apollo thankyou for this app btw :) .

First of all thanx for the great tool!

I have problems to get any saves to work. I downloaded save files (.zip/.rar) from various sites, copied the directory to my usb Stick and then used "usb saves" to copy to HDD.
Apollo asks to resign the save, confirmed with yes.
Any game I tried confirmed "corrupt save file" and it doesn't work.
Tried GTA, NFS, Burnout....
Is there anything wrong with my method?

best regards

those encrypted saves are meant to be used with the commercial Save Wizard tool, so resigning might not be enough or complete to use the saves on another console. Keep in mind, you need to have an activated account-id for the user so the resigning can work as expected.

In any case, the most compatible way to use PS4 save data files between users, is to actually extract only the data files, and inject them on a newly created save on the target console.

So, for example I have a game "ABC"; first I import the external ABC save-game. Then I open the save-game, and "export decrypted files". I select the data file, (for example "profile.dat") and now I have a decrypted data file for the ABC game.
Then, delete the saves, open the "ABC" game, start and create a new save game. This empty save will be valid for your console/user.
Now you can go back to Apollo, open the empty save-game for "ABC", and select "import decrypted files". You'll have to use the file you extracted on the previous step "profile.dat". Assuming the saves were for the same game, title-id, version and region, once you inject the 'profile.dat' to your blank save, you'll have a valid save with the imported data.

Thanks for the fast reply.....
Works perfect with NFS , great.... and I see there is an update for GTA V save game decryption , exactly what I want to try.

do I have to use your method with all saves that GTA creates? I remember there were 2 or 3

Meanwhile I thank you for this great app...I would like to know one thing...I have many quick codes taken from sw...and so I would like to add them to Apollo...but then on which folder should they be added? And another question...how do I activate them? Because I see that there is no option to activate these cheats...thanks for your patience is your availability that you give us

Hi, thanks for this great app.
I want to know if it's possible to copy my entire profile (saves and trophies) from my ps4 SLIM to another ps4 PRO (both on fw 9.00).

I had success with the saves, but I cant find the same "export/import" option for the trophies.

Help!
