Hi everyone! Been lurking on this forum for years. I've finally decided to learn reballing / BGA reworking. I tried last night on a broken board, and I was able to lift the chip but there are some pads that looked brown. I thought they were lifted pads, but looking under the microscope I can see there's actually a pad there underneath what feels like a brown plastic film? Did I hit another net or is this actually the pad? I'll add some pictures.
