Those are way to high. Normal temps should be around 60ºC - 70ºC, 75ºC in extreme conditions.

Check again your deliding and thermal paste, fix it as soon as possible.

I opened it again and things look okay, l replaced the paste from the die to the IHS again and it's still pretty high, I'm starting to wonder if the IHS's are not in the prefect spot.

So I disassembled the console yet again, replaced the paste yet again, made absolutely sure that the IHS's were in the right spots and the GPU still runs hotter than the CPU or close to it, l swapped the fan out for a 19 blade (15 blade is annoying to listen to) and it's helping a tiny bit, it seems to stabilise at 33% ish for a 65*C target but still why is my GPU running hotter than the bloody CELL?

try aerating it better, like putting it upright or in a more open space. i found that heat seems to gather on the bottom of the ps3, so if you put it upright, it will be able to get cooled easily.

my space is fine, I made absolutely sure whenever l use consoles that I use plenty of space. also when l tested the console before, it got that hot when l placed it upright.
