PS4 Are you required to log into PSN Account after restoring to a different PS4 console?

I want to backup and restore my current PS4 to a PS4 Pro.
I read the playstation page for backup and restore and I find that I only need to have logged into PSN in the past before backing up, so I can restore to another PS4.
I have a PSN activated account on my PS4 so that should be fine, but will I need to log into PSN after restoring or can I use the restored console offline without that?

Yes, if you want been able to play bought digital games, using bought themes etc. It is because licenses are encrypted by per console keys, so they must be downloaded again and encrypted by target environment.

Thank you for the answer.
I don't have digital games. I want to play offline and only the games I installed from disk and downloaded updates for. I want to preserve my firmware version. Can I play and use the new console after restoring like I did with the old console without needing to log into PSN?

I restored once my System Backup from some "Slim" to some "Fat" and AFAIR everything working except stuff which needs so called "renewing license". And of course without trophies.

Keep in mind that you cannot restore "sysbup" made on fw newer than one on which you want to restore. And You cannot use patches which require newer fw on older fw.
