PS3 Attempting to resign trophies, no luck through multiple attempts (more detailed info inside)

Hello! I'm trying to move my achievements from my old PSN account to one I made a few days ago, because I really didn't like the username of the last one and a PS4 name change wasn't really an option. I've tried using Bruteforce Save Data many times over, also ensuring to check the validity of the PFD files before moving the files back over to my PS3, but have had no luck, with my PS3 simply ignoring the trophies when rebuilding the database. When using just PS3TrophyIsGood it comes close, recognizing the trophies and letting me view them while offline, but when I try to sync them I get the 80022D11 error. I've also tried using PS3TrophyIsGood alongside Bruteforce Save Data, but when I do that I get the same issue as when I use Bruteforce Save Data on its own, with my PS3 not recognizing anything. I've also noticed that Bruteforce Save Data always lists my profile as being "BLANK" when I try to use the profile information from either a donor save made with my new PSN or a donor trophy set made with my new PSN as well, something I've heard should be fixed by logging into PSN, but I've already done this a few times now and the saves I grab still say BLANK.

I'm using Evilnat's 4.89 on a CECHK model PS3, if any of this information helps. If any extra info is needed then I'll be glad to provide it. Thank you in advance, and sorry if this is a problem with a very obvious solution I somehow missed!

There are many forks of TrophyIsGood, yet all are broken here and there.

Try Apollo, have latest fixes and performed tests with console sync. Yet it must be feed by trophies before You trying to do anything with them obviously.

The only thing that has worked for me with PS3 trophies is this:
  1. Copy the game trophy folder to your PC.
  2. Set any trophy date with PS3TrophyIsGood and save your changes.
  3. Copy the edited trophy folder to your PS3.
  4. Rebuild the PS3 database.
  5. You may or may not achieve more trophies while playing your game (it's up to you).
However, here comes the most important thing: DO NOT SYNC YOUR TROPHIES IF THE GAME IS NOT 100%, because it will fail the sync process with error 80022D00 (among others) and you will not be able to sync your trophies anymore (here is my experience with RDR).

So, my advice is this: get your unobtainable trophies using PS3TrophyIsGood and get the rest by playing the game as usual. Only when you got 100% is when you sync them (remember that the sync process uploads all of your trophies, whether they are 100% or not, so try playing one game at a time or get 100% on all of them before syncing).

Good luck!.

With Apollo I was able to get some of them to sync, but it was very very few. That's okay honestly, I think I'm a bit exhausted at trying to get this working lol, plus I can at least see the remainder when I'm offline.

I will say though, something really strange happened when I got those few to sync? Duplicates of them were created in my trophy folder with the prefix "_SKI_" appended to all of them, something I can't find record of anyone else having experienced online. When I deleted those renamed dupes as well as the originals and re-synced them they synced with the normal folder names. Really quite strange.

Those with the prefix "_SKI_" are like temp folders used to store the in-sync operations, and are not deleted if an error happens during the sync process.

By deleting the whole trophy folder and then resync from PSN, everything gets back to "normal" (albeit at the cost of not syncing the trophies earned on your console).

I had a issue similar and i found out it was because the param.sfo for the games i was using. So i used my GTA V param, sfo via save data..
Once you have the param selected make sure the profile ID at the top doesn't start with a letter.
If it doesn't load one trophy folder into bruteforce. Highlight it and then do the following

  • Click Rebuild full
  • Click Encrypt PFD full
  • Click Update PFD full
Once done drag the folders or the one test folder you are trying into your accounts trophy directory. If you are on a cfw like rebug that has the CFW tools folder, choose "Service Tools" and then click "rebuild Database". If not go into the recovery menu and rebuild database. Once the database is rebuilt sync trophies and you are done

Unfortunately that was one of the things I had already tried by the time I made my initial post, but thank you for the advice anyways, it might help someone else who stumbles on this while looking up how to resign trophies!

So I'm guessing you got it to work? if not feel free to message me discord CSPG#0305

Wont you get banned when you sync on your new PSN? I've been looking for a way to do this but am afraid I'll get banned

There is always a risk of getting banned when doing anything that Sony (or the game studios) deem "illegal" or a breach in their T&C. That's a thing that has always been clear for anyone in these forums.

I've done over 200 accounts between level 100-999 and none have ever been banned, in the 10+ yrs that ive had a cfw, the trophy folders have time stamps, that shows they were earned at diff times. Sure you would think its questionable that someone logged on randomly and synced a million trophies, But for whatever reason it doesn't seem to matter.. I don't keep users accounts or my main account on my cfw once done modding or whatever i delete it off the cfw ps3.

Okay, can I ask you another question seeing as you have a lot of experience?

I have two accounts, #1 which I earned platinums with time stamps only for PS3 games, and #2 which I earned trophies only for PS4 games (current account t) this was before you could change psn names.

I have about equal amount of trophies on both accounts and want them merged while keeping the original time stamps. What is the correct way to merge these accounts?

Would it be to use the data from my #1 account which should be stored to my PS3 and move to #2 account? Or vise versa? Both my PS3 and PS4 are currently jailbroken.

My most important issue here is keeping the original time stamps.

Trophies from other consoles are stored only on Sony servers. So i.e on PS3, You can have only trophies from PS3, and on PS4 only from PS4. If You want add trophies from one account to another account, You must resign them for target account. And of course You cannot add trophies from PS3 to PS4 or vice versa.

well in my case, I want to copy my PS3 trophies to my account #2 which happens only to have PS4 trophies on it. If I can save the ps3 trophies from my Jb PS3 and sign into the exact ps3 with my account #2 which has my ps4 trophies it should work right?

Are there any guides about someone who has migrated their trophies with time stamps to new account before? I really want to do this but am nervous I'll screw up something and botch the whole job. I really need a step by step guide of sorts.

I'm not sure. Personally, i would just put the PS4 account on my CFW, find the games that are on my other account from one of the dozen public trophy folders on forums and resign them, I wouldn't worry about the time stamps, as public folders time stamps are all random as is. But as for resigning them with the exact time stamp from your other account I'm sure it's possible

@SeanRanklin In theory You should create another console user, tied to it SEN user (this one from PS4). After that put there already resigned trophies or trophies to be resigned via Apollo and resign them by Apollo. Rebuild database and as last step, sync with SEN.

But... if signing is not fully reversed engineered (and I believe it isn't in any app), can end with future problems in syncing new PS3 trophies on PS3 side on this SEN account. If two the same set exist already on their servers, it is possible that in future You will be banned for that (currently no one got ban for any trophy related issues, even easily spotted cheaters, but who knows what future brings).

Hello GuilloteTesla
I was wondering if you have more experience with error 80022D00, what would be the best way to solve it, without deleting the user? Thanks in advance for your answer

Hi @f_ercho0220033 and welcome to the forums!. I'm afraid that there isn't a solution for that error. Once you get that error and try to sync again, it will prompt again.

There is a slight posibility of fixing this, but I didn't try it out.
  1. Delete the trophy folder attached to the local user.
  2. Rebuild de DB.
  3. Do a full, proper system shutdown.
  4. Turn the console on and re sync your trophies.
After the sync process, you should now have every trophy set from your PSN account installed on your system.

Now, still connected to PSN, launch any game from your trophy list and check the trophy percentage progress for that game, both with the online and offline views.

If it's the same value in both, then you might be able to sync new games. If it's not (surely the offline percentage is 0) then your PSN account might be corrupted (I'm not sure but that's a symptom I've seen while messing around with my PSN accounts).

Please reply here with your results and experiences. Hope you are able to fix it!.
