backup my game data and write on disk

hi everyone
I want to backup my games disks and pkg files of a few DVDs. but if I clone my games on a DVD (which is their size is smaller than a dvd such as my GTA san andreas game), I cannon run it in multiman and I cannot see it whenever I insert it on my drive. same problem from my pkg files since when I write my files on a DVD, I cannot see them in package manager.

my PS3 is a phat cfw but I tested it with somone elses console which was hfw and it worked!

any help?

None of package manager XML mod known to me, point the dir to "dev_bdvd/" so You will not see any packages on optical disc just like for USB. However, You can use "PS3_EXTRA" to put there *.pkg files as batch or single choose.

Games installed on HDD in "dev_hdd0/game/" will not works from DVD or BD until You change their category in SFO plus maybe rebuild EBOOT with license free (I don't remember the details now).
