Hey everyone, Im at the bashing my head into the wall phase of troubleshooting. I've got a blu-ray drive that was working as of 2 days ago, but I've been working on the internals of the ps3 and must have messed something up but I cannot find a clear answer. This is a slim 2001b, drive is a kem-450aaa. I've replaced the ribbon cable because I thought the old one looked damaged but it didn't change anything. I've tried to rebuild database, restore file system, erk dump and remarry blu-ray failed (open_system-storage_error), I've tried reinstalling cfw but that keeps failing (corrupt). I can't even launch titles that are stored on the ssd, they go black screen and the system locks up till I hard reset. The drive keeps trying to eject ever minute or so and I get flashing blue light. The drive won't take a disc in, and won't read one either. I've also tried to add some tape to the ribbon cable to give it some pressure since the connector on the drive side felt very loose. I added tape to the motherboard side too but that didn't work either. Has anyone seen this behavior before? I've been searching all day and can't find anything. If anyone can help that would be so amazing. Here's a video of the issue:
