Best game manager that displaysgames at the xmb?

which is the best game manager that displays saved games at the xmb easily ps3?

There are differences between all the managers, but the ONLY one that can display your disc backups on the XMB is Webman Mod as far as I know. Launchpad is just an addon for Webman Mod, it requires Webman Mod to function.

No extra risk compared to installing any other FW. You can install Rebug from the XMB fine.

If you are planning on installing Launchpad or even if you just want webMAN running on Rebug here is how:

  1. After installing Rebug go to the Game Category > Package Manager > Install Package Files > PS3 System Storage
  2. From there install Rebug Toolbox
  3. Then go back to the Game category and RUN Rebug Toolbox
  4. On the second column of the toolbox settings change "Toggle Cobra Mode" to Enabled
  5. At the bottom of the same column of settings change "Toggle webMAN" to Enabled.
  6. Now go to the first column and select "Restart System"
  7. Then it is best to update webMAN MOD to the latest pkg which you can get HERE.
  8. Then if you want you can install Launchpad as well.

Edit your number out there dude. you can get all the help you need here. make a thread or look in the psnpatch threads for more info on going online with CFW. I am not the best person to ask.

Yes, You can just install the latest webman pkg via Usb.

No prob, yes Rebug comes with webMAN built in, just follow the steps in post#4 to enable it, then get the latest updater pkg from the link in step 7 and install that, the latest right now is1.45.01. Then after installing it, run it.

If you are planning on using Launchpad you need the FULL version of webman mod, not the standard. So to get that: after installing the webman mod Updater pkg, when you run it, HOLD L1 until the XMB appears again. that is how to choose the FULL version.

I'm not a moderator here but I must say that there's always on all message boards unwritten rule: thread title = comments only related to it. Rules are for a reason, in this case to not making mess which we all don't like (compare this to situation when someone go into Your house, upend a furniture's and made poo on the middle of the room, then he go out ;) How You will feel (besides killing him ;])?). Of course we all are humans, not robots and sometimes we close one eye for something but You know, we should all staying on topic because forum is i.e a database with knowledge which someone else in future will search for solution of his problem. In case when all threads have tons of offtopic stuff his research will end few times longer. Please then respect our rules, and our time.

So, don't afraid, made your thread with proper title and we all be happy to help.

HOW do i install games with my pc to usb or to ps3 hdd?

Read my comment again. This topic is related to application named "WebMAN LaunchPad", not the "installing games on PS3". That are two different things! If You want ask about something like "which is the best backup manager" or "how to install games (...)", make separate Your own thread because You making mess in "WebMAN LaunchPad" thread. Do You understand that? ;]

LastGame Customizer a tool by @aldostools in his collection of tools can create a Game Package for the xmb.. I believe this works on muultiMAN and maybe even IRISMAN I never used this method much but i believe that it's capable of this.. (among some other great uses)

but yea webMAN MOD (or original webMAN) would be the easiest ways for your PS3 game collection to display on the XMB

HOW do i install games with my pc to usb or to ps3 hdd? or which is the best and easy way to do so

Before giving you advice about how to install games/CFW/homebrews using a PC or USB, we would require some more details from you. The first question I have for you is this...

Is your console jailbroken already?

If it's not jailbroken & you are on official firmware, you won't be able to use webMAN-MOD or any other backup manager. You would need to jailbreak first, if & only if your model is compatible with jailbreak!

If it is jailbroken already, what CFW are you currently using?
