I have recently acquired a CECHA PS3 and I want to do my best to keep the temps as low as possible. The seller had already replaced the thermal paste, but I have heard it is recommended to swap out the PSU for a more efficient one. The two recommended ones I have seen are the APS-226 and the APS-231, but these recommendations seem to lack the 240V only PSUs with compatible plugs (APS-227, LSEB1226B1, and LSEB1254A1).
I have heard of success with the APS-227, but I have not read about anyone using the LSEB PSUs despite these appearing to draw less amps (according to https://www.psdevwiki.com/ps3/Power_Supply).
I have heard rumours that the 285W PSUs can sometimes cause issues with this model, but is there any evidence for that?
Either way, I would be interested to know which PSU in both the 399W and 285W categories would be the best in terms of temperatures for my unit.
