Best Tool For Installing Games to HDD?

I've finally upgraded my PS2 hard drive to a 500GB SATA drive. The last time I installed games to the hard drive was way back in 2012 or so using Winhiip. After digging around I've come to learn that Winhiip is no longer considered a good tool to use due to compatibility issues. I've tried doing my homework and have discovered that there are several different tools out there now that people seem to swear by. There's HDL Dump, HDL Dump Helper, HDL Game installer and a few others.

I currently have my PS2 formatted hard drive hooked directly to my PC so I don't need to muck with installing over the network. Which tool is the easiest and most straight forward to use? I did get HDL Dump to work, but it only installs one game at a time (not a huge deal) and I have to rename it each time because it seems to choose some weird 6 letter name for it (DOS file system holdover?). It also has a ton of compatibility options that you can check yet I can't find any tutorial that tells me what these do or if they're even needed now (the tool is pretty old). It also can't seem to delete games once installed.

I just want to use the current best tool for installing games. Can someone please point me in the right direction?
