PS3 Beyond Two Souls - Debug mode on HAN possible..?

This applies to a few games but Beyond is the most infamous for having its debug menu available simply by editing one file. However, it seems impossible to repack the iso for the game and keep this enabled when installing as a pkg on HAN, because all of the guides state to use cfw2ofw to create the pkg from the folders and files... Which downloads the update for the game, which is known to break the debug mode.
Possible to do, if so how..?

So answering to @mrbbq question. Looks like you can enable Beyond Two Souls - Debug mode on HAN.
Decrypt runtime.sdat, in decrypted ini change DebugMenu = 0 to DebugMenu = 1, then reencrypt sdat. This work only on early (1.01?) version of game.

Then as I suspected, the problem is getting the early version converted from the iso/folders to a pkg, because cfw2ofw will force the update to be included... Hm...

(The altered encrypted sdat is freely available elsewhere, but I still can't think of how to do this...)

Well, if it can be done I can't figure out how. You need to be able to edit the file in the early version which means having it all extracted. Do that, but then you can't repackage it without cfw2ofw wanting to update it... Which would break the debug menu...
