PS3HEN Black screen when opening repackaged PKG games on HEN

Hello everyone,
I´ll give a bit of context first. I own a CFW PS3 and I backup all my PKG games. The backup process goes like this:
1. I extract the game PKG and all of its updates on top of it.
2. I edit the param.sfo to reflect this updated version
3. I then package a pkg with the bare minimum for it to install (the only game files I include are the licences, eboots, sprxs, anything that may be signed or licence related)

The installation process is easy:
1. I FTP the game folder to the games folder
2. The raps to the exdata one
3. the reduced pkg to the packages folder

Then after installing the reduced pkg I get the full game

The problem arises when i try to do it on my friends ps3 which has HEN. It installs correctly but it just black screens. Note that he's using the same files i use on my PS3(where they work perfectly).

He previously installed one of this games through psn and it worked.
He uses the reduced pkgs (done with trueancestors repackager) and it blackscreens.
We also tried resigning those pkgs with the ethanol resigner, and it also blackscreens.
None of the game files are modded (including licenses).
Anyone knows what it might be?

i dont understand why he cant download the game and updates from psn and then ftp off to back them up? why are you trying to do it this way with extra pkgs? you can combine updates to one pkg but i dont understand why you are making the pkg with sprxs and all...

I don't compile all the games + updates into one PKG, I have them in folder format and ftp them that way. But if I were just to ftp PSN games on folder format they wouldnt show, so the reduced PKG is to install something so that the PS3 shows the game.
Unpacking once on PC, and then ftping the unpacked folders saves time.
Note that I use this on my CFW PS3 and it works perfectly.

okay...black screen on hen is caused by only 2 things that i know of...webman fan settings or pirate games.

fan should be on manual (or syscon) 35% or higher for hen.

if this is not the cause of the problem, then we can not help any further.

it may be that you have made the pkgs and folders in a way that doesnt work on hen...BUT if anybody tells you how to fix them then they are providing information useful to pirates (and they will get in trouble).

i am not accusing you of anything...but, if its not fan settings, then we can not help.

i recommend taking the ps3 somewhere to download the games and updates directly from psn because they will work and he can also get his games that you dont happen to own as well.
