Hello! Recently, after turning on my PS2, the Free HDboot menu only had the word "versions" left. Oppl disappeared. broswer etc. but I can turn them on normally but they are not visible. does anyone know how to fix it? I didn't change anything in fmcb config.
sorry for the dirty TV

What happen if You will load config externally?
Code:
mass:/FREEMCB.CNF
I copied the config from the hdd to the pendrive via ulaunchelf, then turned on fmcb configuraor and tried to load the config from the mass memory, i.e. from the pendrive, and I received the error ''failed to load mass:/FREEMCB.CNF''. My pendrive is formatted to FAT32 and the fmcb configuration file is directly on the pendrive

You didn't understood me. ;)

FMCB and FHDB seeking on start config on USB. It is very handy to test menu modifications. In Your case, can be used as test if it is config issue at all or something serious which needs FHDB replacement or reinstall. BTW: it is failsafe mechanism, one of two.

Anyway, FMCBCFG should load it. Probably Your partition table is GPT, while only MBR is supported. That's probably a reason why he didn't allow You to browse FAT32 partition. Issue not related to Your main problem but if You will not resolve it, FHDB itself will also not read CNF on start to test what I mentioned.
