Browser issues running PS3 Toolset

Hello guys, I'm new in here.

I have a problem with jailbreaking my PS3, I just can't seem to get my browser to run the toolset.
So when I run this, it either is stuck in an infinite "initializing PS3 Toolset" thing
It throws me an error that I don't have flash player enabled
Or it gives me an error that it couldn't download the framework.
And it never prompts me to run the plugin.

I literally have tried anything, from swapping HDD's to multiple OFW clean installs, making new user accounts and followed every single thing that was recommended, all with big fails...

I have a phat PS3 model CECHH03, with 4.86 OFW.
I just want to jailbreak my PS3, to give it a new life but I can't seem to do so because of this thing.

Sorry if I have posted in the wrong forums, I'm just desperate to get this working.

P.S: I forgot some more details, I even got one error saying that "PS3 Loader could not be loaded because it wasn't found".

Any advice is appreciated. Thanks.

If you never get the plugin prompt & you never get past the Flash testing stage then the Flash plugin was most likely disabled permanently by you or a previous user.

Re-enabling the plugin can be a pain, I recommend to use a new ps3 user profile, delete browser/Flash config files & possibly rebuild database.

It works out for most users but not everyone. In some cases, the above steps don't seem to be sufficient, unless the problem comes from the order in which the steps are executed. I am not sure.

We know that the issue is configuration related but we don't yet know all the ins & outs of browser plugin management.

A per-profile plugin config file located in /dev_hdd0/home/xxxxxxxx/webbrowser, contains a config line enabling/disabling the plugin confirmation screen however this file appears to be recreated automatically on browser start which means that the actual config data must be stored somewhere else.

I had hoped for a different outcome with this problem and a solution found by users but so far it looks like I won't get proper answers until I investigate & reverse engineer the plugin management system. However I am working on other things at the moment & I have no idea when I will be able to investigate this further.

The sad truth is that Sony never implemented a way to re-enable previously disabled plugins from the browser GUI, very stupid on their part.

It was probably disabled by the previous owner, I haven't touched the web browser on this PS3 up until these days that I've decided to jailbreak mine.

Thanks for the advice man... I dunno what to do anymore, I'll keep trying but I don't think it'll end well.

UPDATE: I got it working now, after one database rebuild and deleting cookies and everything else that was needed to delete before trying, first time it prompted me to reload the page to load the toolset plugin, after the page was reloaded I got what I was aiming for.
