PS3HEN Burned PSX backups and PSX import discs are now supported in latest HEN version

when multiple bin file and then cue file file work for burn
or multiple bin file to single bin file using CDmage
then cue file for burn

CUE is needed for burning ANY PSX game. There will be one when you rip your disc. And it wasn't a feature added to HEN as it is just working on 2.3.1 as they fixed the issue of booting PS1 games in that version. It was a feature added into Cobra due to some patches deank came up with that joonie implemented into Cobra sometime back. PS2 backups work with HEN as well with a BC compatible system. In theory PS3 should work as well but I haven't made any of those disc so I had none to test. But I do know PS2 disc are working with my CECHB-01 as I tested this.

about ps3 backups i already saw some tests online and they work fine but considering the size of the games because of the blu-ray disc i think that only few games are worth a shot(you can try some 2Gb disc games like .hack versus)

There seems to be a problem with HEN v3.0.0 with Cobra for the Super Slim CECH-430(4) models. PSX backups on disc won't get detected correctly. They seem to get detected like Datadisc's (The black PlayStation disc icon doesn't gets detected right for disc backups) The funny thing if you put backups of PS1 disc's in the CECH-400(4) series they get detected fine but not on the latest Super Slim CECH-4300 model.

I tested this on 4 machines! 2 CECH-4304A models and 2 CECH-4004 super slim models
CECH-4304A = No go with disc backups! (Show like datadisc) Import games do work, but thats because the disc gets detected correctly and then only the region restriction needs te be removed and then load fine. But backups on disc are a no go! Datadisc disc error.

CECH-4004C = Works perfectly with backups on disc with backups (Black PlayStation icon shows up and plays)

And no the disc's are burned perfect ;) Maybe @esc0rtd3w and or @joonie86 can have a look at this problem?

Do you happen to know how does the PS3 disc drive react to the burned CDs? I remember you had to be careful about discs quality and burning speed on PS2. Nowadays discs burners won't allow you to write below, say, x16. I would just stick to the ISO, but some games work best on a CD, while on ISO they can experience some sound and speed glitches.

Becuse most of CD burners are slimline external ones so you cannot burn at 1x speed. Also, type of CD medium and brand also takes a role for burning quality.

PSX backup disc and also PSX import disc are now supported in HEN exploit since 2.3.1. You only just enable HEN, load the disc and launch the game! It's really simple!

Tested with one of the famous PSX game, Spyro - Year Of The Dragon and works very well.

Not gonna lie wish I had seen this like 3 months ago before making a freemcboot psx memory card lol
