Bypass? License Renewal of Downloaded PS store games. with HEN v3

Forum Noob
So I have a lot of downloaded games from the PS store on my HDD but they all require their Licenses to be renewed. Is there any way for me to bypass these requirements and just play the game offline?

I asked in another thread and I was told that I can use reAct but shouldn't need to because cobra 8.2 does this automatically

I am using HEN v3 on 4.85. Its my understanding that I can't use cobra and also that reActPSN is not compatible.

I'm not trying to play online just play the games I already have downloaded offline. but they all give the message
'. . . license needs to be renewed at the PlayStation Store. . ." or something to that effect.

What can I do?

ironically, the only way to fix a game to no longer require a license is to decrypt it and make it drm free. however, the only way to decrypt it is with the license, so it's pointless to do that. if you can't sign in, like if you've been banned, I'm not really sure what to do without the licenses. I don't think there's anything you can do. each license/activation key is unique.

ok that makes sense, mb i can get my friend to re-log into his account on my (his old) PS3, ever since they linked PS3 and PS4 accounts i've been locked out of all this old downloaded content I used to be just logged into his account all the time but i had to log out so he could use his PS4 online

I'm not sure, but don't you have to be logged in in order to play games with someone else's account? I know you do on the 360. people were sharing various profiles in order to pirate. microsoft banned most of those people after they found the same person playing multiple games at the same time. lol

hmm mb ill see if I can get it to work, its been years since i've talked to dude mb its a good excuse to reconnect although i think he dropped off the map and went full CIA mode deleting his facebook and changing his phone number

so if I wanted to lets say buy a game and then back it up from a disc I can use webman to do that? seems to be the easiest to use so far. I can find a lot of compatibility list etc for HEN but not a list of "best functioning" or must haves

ill try looking into it now, prob just a matter of ripping a disc to the hard drive i imagine, is there a program that does that the best for HEN v3?

thanks to some fabulous tools and homebrew, most things with the ps3 are pretty noob proof, unlike the 360 where there's very little homebrew and what exists feels like an alpha or even a demo. I troubleshoot a lot of ps3 stuff using my knowledge of the 360, since I came from there, so I make a lot of comparisons. very little new stuff is released, and most of the good patches for custom kernel have been known for years like plugins, disc swapping, etc. I find that it helps me to understand some things with the ps3 or gives me a good idea about what may be needed on the ps3.

It's kinda sketchy and maybe piracy idk I'm not gonna tell u how to get them but u need to get the rap file for each game u got then download psn path and I think u press r2 or l2 idk read the prompt and all ur games will work

The thing I like about xbox is the custom dash launch and its super easy to install plugins to I love my slim with hen put my falcon 360 is way better in a since of modding I have a rgh2 and it boots super good everything is always compatible plus I dont have to go threw and manually install mod menus cause I have lifetime stealth with ninja if ur not scared to solder u should try it only for advanced users tho dont go buy a soldering iron and just go heating up on stuff get a rework station and solder bread u will need it

I have 2 falcon jtags. it's a good system for the most part, but I think the mass rrod scared a lot of people away. that's probably why so many people and devs opted to pass on the xbox one. though, all that microsoft intended to do with the system, like phone home all the way, didn't help. they've probably destroyed their brand after two messed up gens. however, nintendo has recovered from that themselves. I like what I'm hearing about the next xbox though, like resume for multiple games and supposedly being fully bc with all previous xbox systems.

Definitely rrod isnt hard to fix usually a reflow will do or tighten the cpu clamps if it's real bad u can rebal it all super easy fixes if u know what ur doing

I think a big problem is most "modders" dont know what they are doing to there consoles and if they were to look into it and know what they are doing they wouldn't have any problems I'm comptia certified and I went to school to solder and build computers and that's honestly makes working on consoles very simple when you know what you are doing instead of using YouTube to make u a pro lol

Also multiman does this when u have game in go to multiman and press the options button I think its triangle and press copy button and boom ur done

the biggest problem I see in modding scenes (any of them) is the lack of precautions some people take like not having a NAND backup.

And it's super easy to restore it fully to the way it was if u back up another big problem is they buy them from other people that dont really know what they are doing get the console and dont even have a computer or know how to format or anything it's like why do u even own it

I always take precautions. that's how I am with the switch games, and I haven't even exploited my system. I'm probably not going to, since I never played any games on the ps3 or the 360 aside from maybe 5 games on both combined.

Do they have a homebrew channel or something like that on the switch? I haven't looked into that I have one might be doing some installing later

yes, I think so. the exploit has been patched, but it took a hardware revision to do it. supposedly, there's a modchip for patched units, but the coronavirus has halted production. it's not out yet.
