PS2 Can I install PSBBN on a PS2 with a modchip?

Just want to make sure if it's possible to install PSBBN on a PS2 with a Modbo chip (don't know what version of the chip I have). I know that there are incompatibilities between the chip and FreeHDBoot and I need to disable the chip to make that work but I couldn't find anything aboout PSBBN
 
Hard to say until you try. There are many modchip firmwares which doing many things differently.
