It seems going great the next cfw features

A question out of context, i couldn't make it work using LAN (RJ45 CABLE) from the PS3 to my Laptop. (I tried in 4.88.2)

My Laptop is connected via WI-FI, I saw some people saying that it wasn't possible via Windows 10 but maybe via Linux it could work, If it only works on Linux i can make a dual boot or a vm but if theres a program that can facilitate doing it via Windows 10 it would be great

Now that i saw the integration of PKG Linker came to my mind if anyone had the same issue as me

if windows can not see the ps3, then a vm running on that windows will not see it either.

maybe you could use a linux live cd/dvd.

i would start by checking the firewall in windows and then the router settings.

Some people said the problem is windows not acepting trasfering internet to the PS3 IF my Laptop is connected via WIFI

In the PS3 it recognizes the IP and in my PC recognizes the coneccion and can see the IPV4 of the PS3 and such.

I think in PS4 (OFW) there's no issue at all doing it that way.

Man the WIFI signal of the PS3 is terrible, im literally a 1 meter of the router, My 2010 Laptop has no issue at all without any slowdowns

are you connecting ps3 to laptop to share internet?
Correct

Laptop gets internet via WI-FI > RJ45 Cable from Laptop to PS3 > Share the WIFI the laptop gets to the PS3 via RJ45

I would be much faster if the PS3 gets internet via RJ45 from my Laptop

what are your ip configuration details for each side of the wired connection? is it all dhcp? if so then that most likely wont work. you can use a rj45 cable but you will need to manually configure the connection most likely.

on laptop just go into the wifi adapters connection properties and click the sharing tab. then manually configure the ip addresses of each the laptops ethernet adapter and your ps3s ethernet adapter to allow them to communicate

i did that, i followed a post made on how to configure it and nothing. I couldn't do it by any means

For all HDCP i cant make a response to that, how can i see if all is DHCP? I made my PS3 IPv4 stable, for my laptop? idk how to check that

the ps3 needs a static ip and the laptops ethernet adapter needs a static ip. you can leave the wifi adapter alone.

dhcp just handles the connection automatically, setting ips in regards to the dhcp server configuration. if you manually set a static ip for your laptops LAN adapter and your ps3 LAN adapter then post what configuration you used. or better yet post the lik to the guide you followed. ive used a ps3 in exactly this same setup as you describe for years and never gave me any problem and ftp speeds was top notch to boot

I made my PS3 IPv4 static, i need to make the LAN one static though, maybe I need my IPv4 from my laptop static aswell y need to try that later

For the post, when im home I will try to find it
