PS2 cant access fmcb installer

hi sorry if this a repeat question, i purchased a fmcb 1.966 card, and i was attempting to make my own with one that has magic gate cert. I did get fmcb 1.966 on there but no applications will launch, so i figured i messed up the install and went to retry... i couldnt get ulaunch to open. i used Rescue.elf to get it open and tried to launch fmcb with it but now it is just a black screen. ive tried other versions installers nothing gets me past the black screen. console is a 77001
Any help would be appreciated thank you so much!

Does the console has a modchip?

FreeMcBoot 1.966 not launching apps == modchip interference

your last hope is to put wLaunchELF on usb root named as RESCUE.ELF and hold start+R1 while booting the FreeMcBoot card (Before the logo shows up)

i used Rescue.elf to get it open and tried to launch fmcb with it but now it is just a black screen.

Try different USB drive, because some may not be fully compatible with the PS2 homebrew.
