Can't decrypt edat even with the valid klic

Hello, after my old post I managed to dump the rap from my ylod console, I get the klic out of it and using validate_klic tool it's considered "valid, however when I try decrypt the .edat, it doesn't work, same happens with other tools using the dumped .rap
It might be a weird rare edat file type???

I removed your info because I dont know anything about klic so i dont know if that info is sharable or not.

If you cant play the game on your ps3, why are you worried about the klic and pkgs? if you still have account info, you can just put the accts on a different ps3 and redownload.

Where did you find RAP on ps3? I have only seen RIF on my hdd.

Ive never gotten YLOD but im wondering how you got the ps3 to start. i thought this was not possible. Maybe you keep turning it on over and over??

what game is this for? I'll see if I have it, then try to decrypt the edat.

@Coro yes keep trying booting it works, I am dumping all my ps3 stuff and installing them on rpcs3 or a new ps3 when I will get it
I maede the rap from the rif, and the image I posted contains info about the edat, nothing bad about it

@Coro , I think klicense info is iffy. I posted the klicense to sly4 in another post, since there's a repository of it with ps3 tools as well as psn liberator. both contain the klicense, but only one (forgot which one) contains the game it's for. unlike rap files, some games can have the same klicense, so it's not quite so special. it could be used for modding purposes. some games have none; some sprx have some, so it really depends on the game.

There was a discussion among some mods about your last thread that was closed. Preorder bonus and rpcs3 was part of that discussion...seems more and more like piracy. Im closing this thread too.
