PS2 cant delete a folder

So i moved some files to the fmcb using wlaunchelf, anyways later on I decided to delete it, but it went error -1
all the subfiles are gone but the parent folder itself just refuses to be deleted.

Lack of details. What uLE or wLE fork you are using and in which exactly version? Does card is dump-able even (that can test if unmarked bad blocks appeared)?

What "moving to fmcb" means to you?

If an empty folder refuse to be deleted try to do it through PS2 Browser:

Look for "Corrupted data".
-> Delete -> Are you sure? -> Yes ->
