PS3 Can't get Apollo or PS3TrophyIsGood to work properly

For whatever reason none of my trophy's sync when I use either of these. They show up offline but never end up synching. I've heard there's some issues with Apollo not synching with games that are started on other systems, but even new games aren't synching properly. TrophyisGood is an older version, so that could be the issue, but I'm not sure where to find the newer ones. Any suggestions?

Having similar issues with Apollo, my percentage just doesn't update even though it says they're unlocked

Trophyisgood has been its own thing because while it registers all the trophies correctly at least offline because I won't synch for reasons I'm getting to, the game says it can't complete the trophy registration and will quit.

I don't know what to do
