PS2 Can't install FMCB

Got an old SCPH-70004 from my friend.
It was modded, has Modbo v1.2 in it, and disc motor does not spin(I don't really know if the laser works, it just doesn't spin and only takes me to the browser screen.). Is there any way for me to Install FMCB without a disc and also without buying a fmcb memory card? I want to play my bacukps btw. I have a sony ps2 memory card and a pen drive too. any help would be appreciated!

Thanks for the reply. I live in a small town in Turkey so i'll try to find any other dudes with a working ps2 to do what you said but I don't think I'll find any. Maybe I can search some playstation repair dudes to do that.
 
There are other ways to installing, but requieres hardware that is harder to find and way more expensive than a FMCB MC...
So, your other harder options are:
1-Getting an official PS2 MC adapter for PS3 and an old WinXP computer to install FMCB from your PC.
2-Repairing/replace your disc drive and use FreeDVDBoot

But, also...
3-Since you have a modchip, does it has BOOT3? If that's the case, well that could be a good solution (an easy one).

Yes, i didn't thought about it. If his modchip supports ELFs boot from USB the job's done.
 
Update: It was real tough but I found a real cool dude who had a fmcb mc and he did all the work for me, with me watching. Thank you guys for the help, and information. Now it plays really good, and all I need is a good magicgate mc and a hdd. Maybe I'll try to play via network but hey, it works and plays well right now.

Well, I actually don't know if it has BOOT3, and I think it shouldn't really matter much since i modded my original magicgate mc. Thanks y'all!
