PS2 Can’t install FunTuna or FMBC

FreeDVDBoot is not working, "The disc could not be read". I'm using a burned DVD that was burned with 1x speed. I have an official MagicGate memory card and my USB is 2.0. Wtf?! What am I doing wrong?!?

If "The disc could not be read" it means that a console cannot read this disc.
It could be a (faulty) laser fault.
It could be a low quality disc fault.
Etc...

If it is not a Verbatim or Taiyou Yuuden (TAIYO YUDEN) disc, then IT IS THE DISC'S FAULT.
You must always use discs from the best brands.

What exactly disc image with FDVDB You are using and on what exactly console? They are designed to exploit specific DVD-Player version, no all versions.

I'm using the one listed here. I'm using a slim, so the one near the bottom is what I'm using.

If You have set English in Browser and still not work, it means discs and or burner are junk. I also hope You doesn't try it on CD-R...

It's neither!! They work fine. It has to be the PS2.

I blame the burner...
Also, even if you use Verbatim discs, the surface of it should be clean like a brand new mirror before burning it.
Be sure to handle the disc properly.

Also, which burner have you used to burn the disc?
Which software did you used to burn the ISO?

OMG!! TWO DAYS AGO IT STARTED WORKING!! ALL I DID WAS HAVE THE DISC INSERTED, STAY ON THE MENU BEFORE YOU ENTER BROWSER AND SOME HOW IT WHEN INTO THE FMBC FILE EXPLORER!!
