like the title says ive tried
1.47.27
1.47.28
1.47.29
1.47.30

all of them freeze at enable HEN, there's no fix its either 1.47.26 and below or no webman at all
i dont know what to do

Reset wMM:
/delete.ps3?reset - delete /dev_hdd0/tmp/wmtmp and /dev_hdd0/tmp/wmconfig.bin

Uninstall wMM:
/delete.ps3?uninstall - delete files & folders installed by webMAN MOD

You mean it enables the hen and never exit the Browser? and if you hit circle it will freeze the console?

When i install hen, sometimes it happens, i change the webman version and it works.

But here is not webman version related, sometimes the session works good and others no (same version) ( by session i mean the time i install HFW and HEN, because i'm always switching from CFW to HEN and vice versa).

I still haven't figured out what the cause is

i have used that command before trying to get it to work

/delete.ps3?reset - delete /dev_hdd0/tmp/wmtmp and /dev_hdd0/tmp/wmconfig.bin

Uninstall wMM:

tried the first command kept freezing the console deleted wmmtmp and the config file manually via ftp
the 2nd one did work as expected

it froze after the hen enabled notification as the browser was closing or somethimes just before xmb was supposed to appear

thank you all it seems to have been fixed.guess the config file mustve got corrupted somehow or was incompatible with newer webman versions. because i dont run it as is but disable a bunch of stuff mainly button combos i never use and sman.

anyway thankyou for your help everyoine

which firmware version are you on? 4.86 or what??

which hen are you using? 3.01 or what??

are you using hen toolbox or any other addons like that?
sorry i didnt see your message earlier

4.86 HFW
HEN 3.0.1
HEN Toolbox

but its fixed now glad i dint have to reset the system or something

nope, nevermind. was playing a game, console froze, had to do a hard turn off. now it freezes on xmb after hen is enabled shortly before the webman folder is supposed to appear.

ps3 led flashes green and yellow dunno if that helps

anyone got any ideas ?

Yellow flashing means webman has been loaded. Check if you can access the web server when the console freezes (enter the ps3 ip on any pc/phone/tablet as an url on a web browser, both devices must be connected to the same router)

i didnt check this time but am pretty sure i cant acceess it
ftp sorta works can connect but times out in welcoming mesage doesnt list any folders.

i managed to fix it again i trough empty boot plugins and multiman and went ahead and just deleted wm_config.bin rebooted console and enabled hen and it worked again but settings are abviously back to default

so @aldostools do you might know why this happens and it only affects webman 1.47.27 an above but not 1.47.26 and below regardless of how many times the console freezes ?

Also disable scan for content at startup in /setup.ps3

The blinking green/yellow led occurs during this process.

if you wanna try without hen toolbox, reinstall hfw and hen again (to remove toolbox xmls). then try webman. if it works, then try toolbox.

Delete HEN toolbox and then try the 1.47.30, just to be sure its not the HEN toolbox that's freezing it.
it works with the toolbox just fine when it does i think it also froze even without the toolbox

wich is weird since i always have had it disabled.
it froze again after i deleted the config file and it didnt freeze the second time i fixed it

difference was i hadnt changed a single config from the webserver. but the first time i had changed several stuff from the default config like
manual fan speed from 35 to 33
uncheck the photogui option
uncheck sman gui
have the diable cfw syscalls at startup unhecked but having the offline part to lock psn
think i also usually set the plugin memory to max
i also disable all the pad shortcuts but the show temp one

if i remember correctly it can freeze with or without toolbox

basically the problem lies with wm_config.bin.
it seems if i change a lot of stuff from the default config and the console freezes and i have to do a hard shut off the next rime wmm gets loaded it will freeze the console requiring a hard shut off.

but whats weird is that i didnt have this problem up to 1.47.26 no matter how many times it froze it all started with 1.47.27

You should explain in detail the modifications you are doing in the config, at this point it looks like either:
-You are doing some mistake
-The combination of settings you are using causes some kind of problem

Maybe is posible to add some "safety check" in webman to prevent that kind of problems (in other words, making it a bit more monkey-proof, no offense intended)
But for that you need to explain to aldo what you are doing exactly, or upload your config files to take a look at them

You could try using a debug build of the HEN payload & capture the UDP output on PC.
It might be helpful to find out which thread crashes, when & there may even be some clues as to why a crash happens.
