You should explain in detail the modifications you are doing in the config, at this point it looks like either:
-You are doing some mistake
-The combination of settings you are using causes some kind of problem
Maybe is posible to add some "safety check" in webman to prevent that kind of problems (in other words, making it a bit more monkey-proof, no offense intended)
But for that you need to explain to aldo what you are doing exactly, or upload your config files to take a look at them
no offense taken
Please explain what do you mean. wMM is as gorilla-proof as it can be.
how i usually set up webman is as the following screenshots show
thats literally how i used to setup webman up to 1.47.26
english isnt my native language but am going to try and explaind as best as i can
-when am running webman mod 1.47.26 or previous versions if the console freezes regardless if i have to hold the button down until the console turns off or pushing once is enough or i can turn it off from webman. webman mod will load just fine after hen is enabled
-when 1.47.27 and newer IF the console has frozen before in the maner i described in the previous point even if it was upgraded from a working 1.47.26 install IT WILL FREEZE after hen is enabled and it tries to load webman
example of this: after it was suggested to me to delete wmm temp files and config files 1.47.30 loaded just fine even after doing 2 or 3 full reboots from the HFW menu webman loaded correctly 3 times.
next i tried playing a game it froze loading (i think i opened webman on the browser 2 times unknowingly) i had to hold the power button down to shut down the console. next time i enabled hen console froze as webman was supposed to load tried that a couple of times same result.
used the empty boot plugins failsafe used multiman and decided to just delete wm_config.bin and sure enough next time hen was enabled webman loaded correctly but with the default settings as expected.
sometime later that evening or next day it blackscreened loading pkgi had to shut it off holding the power button, next time hen was enabled webam loaded correcly only difference from every other time with 1.47.27+ going a few months back was that I DIDNT CHANGE A SINGLE SETTI NG in webman whereas every other time i had changed most if not all that you can see on the screnshots
sorry for the caps i dont know how else to accentuate those points
You could try using a debug build of the HEN payload & capture the UDP output on PC.
It might be helpful to find out which thread crashes, when & there may even be some clues as to why a crash happens.
if you think that would be useful i could try that
