PS3HEN Can't start a game (BCESxxx folder format) on 4.86 HEN enabled

Hello community, I tried many solutions in vain before posting this. I transferreded GoW III ( BCES005 Folder format) to my 4.86 HEN PS3 slim (CECH3004a) via filezilla. I put it in the folder "GAMES", enabled HEN 3.0, started multiman, selected the game logo in Games layout and hit " Load". The multiman exits and I find the disk icon in the official XMB. When l hit " X" the game doesn't start and gets back to XMB. I tried putting a PS3 bluray disc in the BR driver, changed multiman settings of the game to: internal, BD mirror and enabled permissions, but still Ithe game doesn't launch. I also converted the game to ISO via multiman and loaded it so multiman closes and I get the XMB with the game disc logo but when I hit it I get same problem. Please what am I doing wrong?

originally gow iii would not play without disc. there is supposed to be some way to do it but i dont know how...so i also recommend you just play from disc. if you figure it out later, your save file will work no matter the new format (disc, iso, or folder).

Works fine for me in JB Folder Format...... on CFW and HEN.

I would re-rip your game from the BD disc using the PS3 and not a PC BD-ROM drive.

This is not needed anymore for games and hasn't for while now, The Cobra Payload [HEN is uses parts of this payload] make's this obsolete and is not needed on Any Backup manager now even without cobra or using the Mamba payload.

cool...i never actually got to play that one for more than a few minutes because my disc was scratched.

i just got ascension today and was wondering if it would play from rip. so now i know lol.

Not played that one I don't think, at least I don't remember playing it anyways ... I just have GOW 3 and the HD Collection of 1 & 2 from the PS2.

It should play fine, ISO is always the best way if JB folder is not playing ball.
 
Im new here and I dont know where to post or to ask about this, Im asking here if its not the problem...
Im on 4.84 hen version all the games that I have I can play them the only game that doesnt start its the game Thief...everytime that I start the game it freezes on the duplex logo...I searched a bit but it says that i need to fix eboot and param.sfo...
but i have a question do i need to to fix them on 3.55 version or my ps3 version that im on 4.84 ?

you won't get help with pirated games on here, but I can tell you this: fixes and cracks mess the game up, so I wouldn't even bother.

With the original files there is no need to fix anything and obviouslly the original files doesnt have any duplex logo
