Wrong on so many levels man. It makes me sick that they are using charity as a front to line their pockets. I dont care what defense they try to scrum up, in the end its less that goes to charity.
The persona setting up the affiliate link does not know someone is going to donate the full amount to them, but they do know they are taking from charity for simply sharing a link.
Humble Bundle is running such a flawed affiliate promotion.
It needs to be a set % for an affiliate and that is it.
If an affiliate got a 5% or less then is more then sufficient for sharing a link (MORE THEN ENOUGH ESPECIALLY WHEN ITS OTHER PEOPLE PRODUCTS/CHARITIES THAT ARE FUELING IT.)
.You see cases above in the tweet link, where the charity gets 0.21 (and that is split between 3 charities for this bundle) and the person sharing the link gets over 14.00. I just do not get it and people say "you deserve it" (which may be the case but not for this event they do not) but does charities like
Save the Children, Red Cross Rett Syndrome Research Trust deserve much better then affiliates jumping on and taking "free money" for content that was not even theirs.
I am annoyed about it, time to get some awareness on the flaws of the program.

Will force their hand to change it by showing the flaws and how EASY it is to be abused
