PS3 CECHA and APS231 Power Supply

Replaced the crappy ZSSR power supply on my CECHA console with an APS231 several days ago. Have been playing with this console for some time and everything's working just fine. Played the Last of Us for several hours (escaped the city hall and entered subway) and there's no freezing or sudden shutdown. APS231 runs much cooler than the crappy ZSSR, and even cooler than APS226 (supplies 32A on 12V rail). I read some people experience problems with APS231 on CECHA system, but everything's working just fine for me. I'll update if there's any problem.

Good to know at least someone is confirming, the APS-226 isnt totally crap, it heats up, but its not as bad as the ZSSR5391A,that one was a furnace to begin with, the APS-227 is even better, although they only came in PAL C04s, and i am not sure if they operate at a 110V Grid, although i suspect they do.

The problems ive heard with the 231s on A/B Models was mostly documented on PS3Wiki i believe , although i was mostly inclined towards 50/50 chance, i assumed the information was legitimate due to the extra PlayStation2 Hardware inside, but at the same time it couldn't be since the PlayStation2 Hardware is fairly efficient and low powered on his own.

The PS2 EEGS chip is very efficient as it's the same chip found on 7000x series PS2 consoles, and the entire 7000X PS2 console is rated around 30W. Imo the main cause of power reduction for CECHG model is the 65nm CELL processor. Anyway, APS231 is rate at 276W, it should handle the 200W COK001 motherboard without any problem.
