PS3 CECHA00 BC PS3 updated to 4.86 won’t boot PS2 games (Black Screen)

BC PS3 was updated to OFW 4.86 then PS2 games won't boot anymore. Getting stuck on black screen but can still go to the XMB. It just wont proceed to the PS2 boot up screen. I also did 4.86.1 CFW and tried running PS2 games in ISO but still the same. Any way to fix this?

please make one thread per question/problem. i deleted the other one.
 
It can take awhile before someone that knows about the subject sees a post so it's best to give it a day or so then bump your original thread.
Making multiple threads can end up making things confusing and can turn people away from trying to help because nobody wants to keep jumping between 2 or 3 threads just to try helping on one question.

Just give it a little time and welcome to the site bud :)

@Coro I wanted to explain a little more about why it's a problem because I had already deleted one myself.

you have to enable qa flag before downgrading. only need to enable one time. it will stay enabled.

which cfw are you using?

how are you trying to play ps2 games? from disc?

this ps3 did play ps2 games before 4.86, correct?

> yes it was playing ps2 games from both discs and ISOs before 4.86. It can detect and read discs and ISOs but when I load the game it just stays in a black screen but the console is still responsive. I can still access XMB or quit the PS2 game that's in a black screen
 
Try changing ps2 emulator to original/cobra.

Rebug Toolbox > Toggle PS2 Emulator > select Orignal or Cobra.
