My CECHC03 console stopped outputting video on both AV and HDMI. HDD died so I had to replace it.
When the HDD died at first I got a PS3 Cannot Start the Appropriate Storage Was Not Found error message but after that happened once, it never showed any error messages again. AV stopped outputting and HDMI started outputting a resolution signal but only a black screen to the TV. No sound and no controller connection. Then that also died and now nothing is being displayed.
Tried swapping back the HDDs and also turning it on without one but nothing changes. Tried to enter Safe/Recovery mode and the power button beeps and responds as it should when trying to enter it but still no display output and controller, while charging, still doesn't pair. Trying to blindly initiate a restore doesnt seem to work as the HDD light never lights up.
That would mean it never reaches the recovery menu at all I assume?
SYSCON external mode shows no errors and my adapter seems to not be able to access internal mode for some reason. It just receives garbled data when I try to AUTH in the GUI and the older python CMD script crashes with a decode error.
Could this be a GLOD or something different? GLOD should be blinking and not staying steady on right? I have read about people having no video output like me but their consoles either got into Safe/Recovery mode but with no picture and were able to initiate a restore or their power button would not beep/respond correctly and they never heard a double beep to enter Safe/Recovery mode.
