PS3 CECHC03 turns off when starting a PS2 game

My Frankenstein CECHC03 will not play any PS2 games and am running Evilnat 4.92

It'll start the game but the console will beep 3 times then turn off before it gets to the PS2 logo.

Temps are
Cell - 58
RSX - 54

It can't be overheating as I've repasted and replaced the thermal pads.

Anyone know what the problem could be?

I recommend checking the SYSCON error log before making any changes to the board.

May be short in the PS2 sector power lines.
Some voltages are only released when the PS3 enters PS2 mode, which is why it turns off when you start a PS2 game.

Hi have sorted it now, I changed the game scaling in the settings and it's working fine bow
