cell swap

So I have a cechb01 board that had all 3034 errors. I slapped a 40nm rsx on it and now it's giving me 3040. I pulled the nand and it has 14 errors on it. Mostly in the bootldr for both top and bottom chips. I have Victor taking a look at the nand. But on the likely chance this thing is toast. Can I swap a cecha cellset to a cechb board? I'm assuming the no wifi thing might be an issue with the syscon? Has anyone tried this before? The only spare cellsets I have are for cecha boards.

Edit:

I redumped the nand and verified it with flashcat. Nands are good now. I wrote them back to two Samsung chips I pulled from a donor board. Console boots. I'm still curious though, are we able to swap cellsets between cecha01 and cechb01?

I have the same problem, full list of 3040 errors with CECHA console. Did you have backup of the working nand dumps? Or did you just redump the data back to the new NANDs? @luvbuckets

I bought this console on eBay this way. No backups. Nand work kind of sucks. You have to rewrite each chip after you patch the nand and that takes a while. Odds are you're doing it multiple times while you go through a learning curve. I've killed almost a whole day trying to get this nand stuff figured out.

Theoretically possible, but you will have to swap CELL, NANDs (flashable), Syscon and BD drive (remarry-able). @M4j0r knows more about it

Yes, NAND needs to be copied. Syscon can either be remarried or taken from the other board, the EEPROM needs to be copied over.

My curiosity is if a CECHG to CECHA/B/C/E is possible? The designs for SEM and COK look kinda similar, aside from the GS removal from the SEM, and as we know the SEM runs a 65nm CELL.
