Can you write something more about that CFW? I only know that developer coming from my country and last version was safe for use on NAND consoles. But this time i don't see any nand ps3 tested so until that not gonna be tested i can't tell is safe. Last time i tried get more info about that but i don't have account on any site where cfw is released. Is MFW? What tools are used to build that? And many more question need to be answered. Why is not tested on nand?

tested and working on ps3 cech2004a date code 9d with e3 flasher
but the pkg manager is in Polish

After check, it contains the cobra files from the joonie's github repo. But it is not the latest stage2.bin. It is the previous ones (dated july 15).
There is also the "stage2.bin.debug" in the dev_flash/sys folder which is not usefull for a public release...lol.
The unpkg COS package is 7168KB, so it as not been build with the regular ps3mfw. Maybe with the haxxxen one.

So, at least they should mention/thanks [MENTION=29]Joonie[/MENTION], [MENTION=161]Matsumot0[/MENTION], [MENTION=89]aldostools[/MENTION] for the cobra and webman mod...

If you asked me? then I don't know, the beta testing is still on going and yet some people like to release the unfinished work as their official without any credits given. I haven't tested this CFW personally

Well, I came here to say that while this firmware has been tested by me and it works on my CECHG03 machine, albeit with the fan running at eardrum-perforating full speed, I am disappointed by the fact that the creator of this custom firmware has NOT given any credit, if at all, to those who helped with the components in the first place.

Though to be fair, my CPU/RSX temperatures are crazily high - 85°C/65°C after 10 or so minutes of use. That is dangerously high, and I may need to reapply the thermal paste on it, especially when the system in question was a BD-ROM-replaced system, which needed to be remarried before I could use it.

Also, how the heck do I install packages from my USB pen drive on this custom firmware? It doesn't help when the package installer is in POLISH... oh, and it looks like the CFW is taken down!
