I am unable to fix controller desync, I'm thinking about removing @haxxxen's /dev_usb000 mount from stage0, it is too sad because I really love it , but it will desync all PS3 controllers unless they are wired connected

The closest thing I have found are the functions: sys_hid_manager_close, sys_hid_manager_ioctl and sys_hid_manager_unmap_logical_id_to_port_id.

I can disconnect the controller with sys_hid_manager_ioctl through xai_plugin with system_call_4(0x1F7, 0x100 /* port */, 6, 0, 0);, but when I use sys_hid_manager_ioctl's symbol in Cobra it hangs up the PS3

Don't know if there is a workaround to load external payloads at boot (probably on stage2 itself)

Where can I get the 4.89.2, find everywhere only the v1.
Did you only get it as a beta?
And what are the improvements compared to the v1?

Two alternatives to explore:
1- check usb0 only if a flag file exists in hdd0. This way the users could use the feature knowing the desync effect.

2- move the current code in stage0 to stage1. Then use the original code in stage0 to load the delayed stage1. Or maybe delay stage0 executing it on a hooked event that occurs later.

I tried both methods, the second one freezes the PS3 at boot, the first is working. I'm using old stage0 and stage1 with a few modifications in asm and main code, and a new optionin xai_plugin to toggle, what I have called, Toggle Advanced Cobra (I don't know what to call it)

If it's enabled, it will check for a flag called ext_cobra in /dev_flash/sys (can't find it in /dev_hdd0 because it's not mounted in that moment), once activated you can load external Cobra payloads and plugins

I'm testing it a lot to find issues, I haven't found any yet

yo ive got a slim just put it on your 4.89 but getting errors opening pkgs, can you please send us the beta to see if it sorts this please bro
 
@Evilnat Thanks for the amazing CFW, I have used it on my PS3 when the first 4.89 version dropped. I havent been playing allot last months. Have you updated it since release? And is it still safe to sync trophies of my games. Thanks in advance.

PS: Can you make an easy option to get all audio out (inc. game etc) from usb for usb headphones.
It is not easy for pupils like me to find solution like playing with libaudio.sprx ‍♂️
 
I will explain that I was uploading 4.89 to my console - I didn't encounter errors, only restarting the console without winning custom elevant 4.89, all versions of which I downloaded from this site and from the other person. Each elevant in safe mode led to a restart of the console without the effect of granting me the right to manage the disk and the ability to use plugins from ps3xploit.me.
My Sandisk 32gb converted to fat32 and bootable format does not allow files to be read and transferred to custom PS3 Evelant 4.89.
I have all the elevants available on my disk and pay attention to deleting/extracting/attaching STORAGE to sandisk and console.
What I want to say is that no form of ps3 upgrade that I am using works if I am not mistaken. I trust the most on the blik with the record that is shown for reading in safe mode that (8002F2C5) "THE DATA IS CORRUPTED" that's why I have many files from this site but I try to ask for advice or provide a copy of the files because the developer will make me very happy if I can I am available and I will gladly receive help in preparing the console and files.

I got a ps3 CECHA00 From Japan, this console cames without a BluRay Driver, so i bought one drive fully working.
My storys starts in OFW 2.60
First of all i connect the new Bluray driver to my ps3.
2) i update OFW 2.60 -> OFW 3.55 - ok
3) I update OFW 3.55-> CFW evilnat 4.89 Standart - ok
4.) Then i tried to DUMP EID ROOT KEY by Firmware TOOLS>DUMP TOOLS and i failed to get the file in USB Flash.
5.) then i update CFW 4.89 Standart -> CFW evilnat NOBD - ok
6.) Donwload IDPSET and did the process to Dump EID ROOT KEY. Then i had succes
7) Then i decide to comeback to CFW 4.89 evilnat Standart to remarry my BluRAy Drive. BUT IT DOESNT WORK. Everytime appers an error ``Data is corrupted``
SAFE MODE : 80002F2C4
By XMB : 8002F167
I already try a lot of OFW and CFW and always got this error.
Please someone
