PS3 (CFW 4.90)PS3 ISO and PKG files not working

I just recently installed CFW on a pretty much new PS3. It is a PS3 Slim CECH2001B.
I have installed WebmanMOD and can play PSX, PS2 ISOs and PSP PKGs, however, PS3 ISOs and PKGs will not load into games at all.
PKG installed games lead to a black screen, essentially freezing the system. ISOs will give the error code "An error occurred during the start operation (80010017)"
Before installing CFW and WebmanMOD, the PS3 already had a faulty blu-ray drive, able to play PSX and DVDs but not PS3 games.
Also I'm sorry if this is the wrong place to post, I'm new to here.

PSP ISOs confirmed to also not work, simply saying it's mounting and then nothing else.
 
I think you ned a Accound ID.You can creat a Fake ID ,ore you just sing in to PSN once.
then at least the PKG games should work

I'm signed in, the rap files are installed, it went to black screen as i described. The only ps3 game that has worked is 'Metal Gear Solid Peace Walker HD'. I'm assuming it's just corrupted files causing iso and pkg issues. Otherwise i don't know, and my source for files has been reliable for everything else. So unless there's a compatibility list somewhere that I'm missing, showing the games I'm trying to play just don't work, then I don't know.
I have not tested PSP PKGs like I said in my initial post, so I do not know if those work.
My current theory is that my wifi download speed is too slow to reliably keep the files uncorrupted, but I don't know if that's a thing. Perhaps my source for files just has bad rips? I really don't know, and finding reliable sources for PS3 games is the worst.

The only realiable sources are PSN and your own discs. Any other thing is considered piracy here, which is against the rules.
