CFW Advice

Hi guys, i've a CECH-2504A PS3 which is currently on a old rebug cfw, i want to ask you if should upgrade to the latest 4.91 evilnat or to 4.84.2 rebug. I don't want to play online, just my ps3 games and eventually ps1, ps2, psp games and some emulation. Any advice is appreciated! (For homebrews too :) )

Evilnat CFW 4.91 has very nice features built-in, so it's better to use that CFW.

But if you are confortable with REBUG 4.84, then use that version. It's up to you.

Thanks for your answer, i am on 4.84 rebug (in the first message i meant "...upgrade to the latest 4.91 evilnat or stay on 4.84.2 rebug") because i didn't turn on the ps3 in a while...as long i stick on play games only (mostly i guess) do i really need to upgrade to 4.91 evilnat? What are its the pros (and cons)? Do the new version of cobra and all that stuff needed? I see it's still in beta release

PROS: new Blu-ray keys, you can go online, Cobra features out of the box (i.e. not requiring the use of specific homebrew), current development and support on bugs and issues.

CONS: it's still in beta so you may find some tiny bugs, you need to have Rebug Toolbox installed (Evilnat 4.91 has all of that embeded in a nice XMB menu).

But again, it's up to you. One thing you can have in mind is this rule we tend to use in computer science: "if ain't broken, don't fix it".
