CFW homebrew freezes all the time after instaling it, please HELP

Hello,

I have PS3 Phat CECHG04 7D console.

It has 40GB hdd, i tested it and it is 100% perfect.

I tried PS3HEN and now i tried CFW.

I did it all by the book, checked nand, used pyps3 checker, used md5 online checker, everything by the book.

And, when I install HEN, i install multiman and start it - IT GOES BLACK SCREEN AND FREEZES.

Same with CFW Cobra, I finish installing CFW, i install multiman and start it - IT GOES BLACK SCREEN AND FREEZES.

Al i can do is unplug ps from electricity and start it again.

I tried other homebrew - SAME THING.

I tried rebuliding database - did not help.

Is there any cure for this? Or any known reason so i might know in future why this happenes and what to expect?

i have the same issue. and i wander if i can find reason by syscon error code. but my bios battery is low,i must change it and then start my job

This is an old thread i see, but just want to mention this.

Al i can do is unplug ps from electricity and start it again.

When ever your PS3 freezes do not unplug it Hold down the power button until it powers off.

That's not always possible. For instance if you try to play a PS2 physical disc on a non-BC console running CFW it'll panic the kernel and you won't be able to un-hang it except by power-cycling.
