I meant that I heard that when the CMOS in the PS3 expires, the console cannot play games and is bricked.
Is that true?
If so, do I have to change the battery like you suggested it, or can I go on playing?
I know the CMOS battery on my PS2 is not working, yet it's still working unlike systems like the PS4, which, until firmware 9.00, had a major CMOS brick problem. Is the PS3 like the PS4 when it comes to the CMOS battery problem?
